The High Commissioner of the province of Kénédougou, Saïdou Sakira, gave this Monday, August 28, 2023 the starting signal for the 6th edition of the storytellers' marathon organized by the LamogoyaTaama Association, Marche des Alliances.
It's officially off to the 6th edition of the Storytellers' Marathon. A sports initiative of the LamogoyaTaama Association, Marche des Alliances. The starting signal was given this Monday by the High Commissioner of the province of Kénédougou, Saïdou Sakira. Its theme is: “March, resilience and resistance, support for the FDS and promotion of popular shareholding”.
For this edition, the organizers intend to make, if possible, the Orodara-Bobo-Ouagadougou and Manèga route.
According to the promoter, Arouna Traoré, the Storytellers' Marathon, 2023 edition, has the participation of walkers from Orodara, Bobo and Manèga. For him, it is an innovation.
While commending this initiative at its fair value, the High Commissioner, Saïdou Sakira, invited the promoter to enlist the services of the provincial directorates in charge of sports, culture and youth for a better organization of the event next year in order to give it a special cachet.
The 6th edition of the Storytellers' Marathon will take place from August 28 to September 10, 2023 with Manèga as its base.
