(Saint Petersburg, GMT+3). Staying in Saint Petersburg as part of the 2nd Russia-Africa Summit, the President of the Transition, Head of State, Captain Ibrahim TRAORE discussed this Wednesday at the end of the morning with the military trainees in training in Russia.

11 artillery officer cadets, 4 engineering cadets and 5 physical culture officer cadets, in training in various Russian military academies, met with the President of the Transition.

According to the student artillery officer, Achraf SIMBORO, delegate of the trainees, the Head of State explained to them the difficult security situation of our country during the exchanges and the major objectives of the Transition which are the reconquest of the national territory. and the return of internally displaced persons.

In this perspective, "the Head of State expects the maximum from us, that we give our all in studies and training because Russia is a great power and when we carry out an internship here, it is a great asset for us”, supported Achraf SIMBORO.

According to the representative of the trainees, they receive in the various military academies a general training in artillery and engineering on the use of several weapons. "This allows us to learn the operation of certain weapons here in Russia which are adapted to the technology of the moment and the security situation", underlined Achraf SIMBORO.

He maintained that he and his comrades give their all so that "tomorrow we can breathe new life into our army in the fight against insecurity".

The military trainees seized the opportunity of the meeting to expose some difficulties experienced to the Head of State who promised to examine them for their resolution.
