Ouagadougou: A delegation from the organizing committee of the first edition of the International Festival of Kinship and Joke Alliance (FIPAP) presented a certificate of appreciation to the Ghanaian Embassy on Friday for its support during the inaugural event. The delegation was received by Abdulai Haruna Alhassan, the Minister, Deputy Head of Mission of the Embassy.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the presentation took place in recognition of the Ghanaian Embassy's cultural commitment and support in ensuring the success of the festival, which was held from November 29 to December 1, 2024, in Ouagadougou. Abdulai Haruna Alhassan expressed his gratitude to the FIPAP organizers for the tribute and emphasized the continued support from the embassy for such cultural initiatives.
Mr. Alhassan praised the festival's efforts and reiterated that the embassy's doors would remain open for future collaborations. "Ghana will remain available to support future initiatives aimed at promoting cultural diversity, African creativity, and the unity of peoples," he stated.
The International Festival of Kinship and Joke Alliance (FIPAP) is an event initiated by the FASO RAKIIRE Association with the objective of fostering social cohesion and national unity through the celebration of culture and kinship in Plaisanterie. The next edition of the festival is scheduled for 2026.
