CAF Champions League: Rahimo FC to Leverage Strengths in Clash Against Esperance de Tunis

Ouagadougou: Rahimo FC coach of Burkina Faso, Jamil Benouahi, announced during a press conference that his team will play tomorrow at the August 4 Stadium in Ouagadougou against Esperance Sportive de Tunis, in the second round first leg of the African Champions League preliminaries.

According to Burkina Information Agency, Rahimo FC's coach, Jamil Benouahi, expressed a confident approach as his team readies to face the Tunisian giants. Benouahi emphasized their focus on playing to their strengths, maintaining a conquering spirit, and a desire to perform well. He stated, "We'll play the match to the fullest with our strengths," showing a relaxed demeanor despite the formidable reputation of their opponents.

The Moroccan coach dismissed any notion of fear in facing the four-time CAF Champions League winners. He clarified that while there is respect for Esperance Sportive de Tunis, his team is approaching the match with a positive mindset. Benouahi mentioned analyzing footage from the Tunisian team's recent championship match, which he plans to use to his team's advantage. He highlighted the match as a learning opportunity for his players.

Rahimo FC captain Ardjouma Ouattara, who joined the coach at the press conference, reiterated the importance of the team's mentality as a key strength. Ouattara's comments echoed the coach's sentiments of entering the match with a determined and focused mindset.

The opposing team, Esperance Sportive de Tunis, opted not to attend the pre-match press conference. The much-anticipated match will take place tomorrow at 4 p.m. UT at the Stade du 4 Aot in Ouagadougou.
