Comoe Residents Reaffirm Patriotism in Flag-Raising Ceremony

Noumbiel: In a demonstration of patriotic spirit, residents of Niangoloko gathered at the municipal high school for a flag-raising ceremony as part of the second phase of the Days of Patriotic Commitment and Citizen Participation (JEPPC). The event, which occurred on Monday, October 6, 2025, was chaired by Ousseni Ouedraogo, the prefect and president of the special delegation of the commune.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the ceremony saw participation from various schools and administrative services within the commune, emphasizing the collective involvement of the community in patriotic activities. Ousseni Ouedraogo, during his address, highlighted the vision of Captain Ibrahim Traore, President of Faso, which centers on patriotism, sovereignty, and collective responsibility. He urged citizens to embody these values through concrete actions, advocating for a departure from dependence and imperialism.

The prefect's concluding remarks, "We must be the actors of our development," resonated strongly with attendees, who responded with enthusiastic applause, reflecting the community's commitment to national development and self-reliance.
