Dano Opens Educational Conference to Discuss Reforms

Ouagadougou: The President of the Special Delegation (PDS) of the commune of Dano, Denis Zanre, officially inaugurated the annual educational conference for teachers of the Basic Education District (CEB) of Dano. The event commenced at Dreyer primary school, focusing on the theme "Implementation of educational reforms and appropriation of integration situations."

According to Burkina Information Agency, educational supervisors and 385 classroom teachers are set to engage in a four-day deliberation on the theme. A significant part of the conference will be dedicated to examining the "orientation framework for continuing education and pedagogical supervision."

During the opening ceremony, Denis Zanre read a speech from the Minister of Basic Education, highlighting the ministry's curriculum reform initiative aimed at developing young Burkinabes into responsible and creative citizens. This reform is currently being generalized to reach the second year of elementary school (CE2).

The Minister's message commended the ongoing efforts and sacrifices of educators while encouraging them to transform Burkinabe schools into platforms for development and the cultivation of patriotic and diligent citizens, aligning with the Head of State's vision.

Tibouo-ion Romaric Some, head of the CEB of Dano, expressed satisfaction at the full attendance of teachers. He emphasized the importance of embracing these educational reforms to ensure their successful implementation. He urged participants to make integration situations a reality in classrooms and to master the new pedagogical supervision formula.

The conference activities are being held in workshops at Dakole "A" and "B" schools and Dreyer school.
