Djibasso Graduates Share Patriotic Immersion Experience at Departmental High School

Djibasso: Returning from their patriotic immersion, a delegation of six new high school graduates from Djibasso presented a report on their experience to their classmates at the Djibasso departmental high school on Thursday, October 16, 2025. This initiative is part of the National Days of Patriotic Commitment and Civic Participation, organized nationwide from October 2 to 16, 2025.

According to Burkina Information Agency, members of the first class from the commune of Djibasso participated in a month of training in the town of Nouna, in the province of Koosin, which brought together nearly 457 candidates, including 124 from Djibasso. During their intervention, the students visited the classrooms, from sixth grade to final year, to share the lessons learned from this experience.

Their speech, which focused on values such as civic duty, love of country, solidarity, respect for public property, and discipline, was received with interest by the students. The graduates emphasized that this immersion was not limited to theoretical training on moral values. Physical activities also punctuated their stay, strengthening the spirit of cohesion and responsibility.

The aim of this restitution was also to encourage high school students to prepare themselves psychologically for the next sessions of patriotic immersion. A way to pass on the torch and encourage young people to support this presidential initiative.

The high school's principal, Mr. Hamadou Zida, welcomed this civic initiative. "I am proud of this initiative. It reflects our students' commitment to a better Burkina Faso," he said. He also congratulated the high school graduates for their initiative and wished them a successful academic year.
