Dokuy PDS Commends Teachers’ Dedication and Resilience at Annual Conference

Koosin: The President of the special delegation (PDS) of the commune of Dokuy, Abdoul Ouahhidi Sibiri 2 Guingane, chaired the annual pedagogical conference of teachers, praising their professional commitment.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the closing ceremony of the conference was highlighted by the presentation of certificates of merit and congratulations to teachers from the Basic Education District (CEB). This recognition was given for their resilience during the 2024-2025 school year, as demonstrated by their efforts in managing schools, reopening certain schools, and achieving a 100% success rate in the 2025 CEP examinations.

Anselme Taro, the Head of the Basic Education District (CCEB), noted that the initiative aims to acknowledge the sacrifices made by teachers and their contributions to educational success. Discussions prior to the ceremony covered issues such as the return of the town hall headquarters, housing renovations, and improvements to school infrastructure, including latrines, drinking water supply, and telephone network rehabilitation.

In response to these issues, Abdoul Ouahhidi Sibiri 2 Guingane assured attendees of his commitment to addressing these concerns and enhancing the resilience of civil servants in Dokuy. He concluded by wishing everyone a successful start to the 2025-2026 school year and a safe journey back to their families.
