Dolo: Opening of the Pedagogical Conference of Teachers for a Better Appropriation of Educational Reforms

Dolo: The pedagogical conference of teachers of the Basic Education District (CEB) of Dolo commenced on Wednesday, October 15, 2025, in the meeting room of the Dolo town hall. Chaired by the Prefect, President of the Special Delegation (PDS) of the commune, Ilassa OUEDRAOGO, the meeting was held under the theme: "Implementation of educational reforms and appropriation of integration situations."

According to Burkina Information Agency, this session, organized from October 15 to 18, 2025, aims to strengthen the teaching capacities of teachers amidst the implementation of new reforms in the Burkinabe education system. In his opening speech, the PDS, Ilassa OUEDRAOGO, acknowledged the commitment of education stakeholders in the commune and encouraged them to "make this conference a strategic lever for the quality of education in the commune of Dolo."

Throughout the four days of work, teachers are set to delve into several sub-themes, including the presentation of the Orientation Framework for Continuing Education and Pedagogical Supervision (COFCEP), the implementation of educational reforms, and the appropriation of the CE sub-cycle curricula and support tools. Participants will also engage in presentations, group work, and plenary sessions on various topics such as the development and correction of integration situations, the introduction of oral English from CE1, the integration of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) in teaching, and the presentation of digital educational resources (applications, guides, and multimedia supports).

The conference is scheduled to conclude with an evaluation of the session and the reading of the general report, aimed at identifying achievements and prospects for improving educational practices in the municipality. This annual meeting is part of the continuous effort to enhance the quality of education and the effectiveness of teachers for the benefit of students.
