Educational Reforms on Agenda at Toece Educational Conference

Toece: The annual educational conference of primary school teachers in the commune of Toece began on October 15, 2025, under the theme: "The implementation of educational reforms and the appropriation of integration situations." The event is scheduled to run until October 18, 2025, providing a platform for discussing significant changes in the educational landscape.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the town hall's function room served as the venue for the official opening ceremony, which was presided over by Harouna Nana, the prefect and president of the special delegation (PDS) of the commune of Toece. The ceremony also saw the attendance of Claude Ouedraogo, the Provincial Director of Preschool, Primary and Non-Formal Education (DPEPPNF) of Baz¨ga.

This annual meeting is designed to facilitate the ongoing training of primary school teachers. It aims to enhance teaching capabilities for more effective implementation of the new educational reforms.

During their addresses, both the PDS of Toece and the DPEPPNF of Baz¨ga commended the educational stakeholders in Toece for their outstanding achievement of over 95% in the 2025 CEP session. They encouraged continued efforts to maintain this leading position at the provincial level.

Mr. Nana urged teachers to engage diligently and actively participate in the conference to fully assimilate the knowledge shared over the four days.
