FDS, VDP, and Citizens Unite for City Clean-Up in Solenzo

Banwa: The Solenzo Citizen Watch and the combat forces organized a clean-up day on Saturday to give a human face to certain public places in the city. A good collaboration between the Defense and Security Forces, the Volunteers for the Defense of the Fatherland and the citizen watch, supported by the population of Solenzo who came out in large numbers equipped with rakes, machetes, shovels and brooms, etc. made it possible to clean the surroundings of the central police station, the interior of the Medical Center with Surgical Antenna (CMA), the central market and the prefecture of Solenzo.According to Burkina Information Agency, Captain Papa Parfait Kambou stated that this initiative aims to make these public places clean and also send a message to the population to maintain cleanliness in public areas. "While waiting for the Laabal brigade, everyone must take care of the property in their surroundings. The town of Solenzo must be clean, and for that, we must clean it," Captain Papa Parfait Kambou told the population.This Saturday morning, some cut the tall grass and shrubs with machetes while others put them into the tricycles and vehicles mobilized for this purpose. The garbage bins along the main road were also emptied.It was with joy that the volunteers agreed to meet again next time to clean other public places.
