Gourma Citizen Watch Association Backs Faso Mebo Initiative with Cement Donations

Fada n'gourma: The Gourma Citizen Watch Association is actively participating in the Faso Mebo presidential initiative in Fada N'Gourma, through cement donations and regular participation in paving work.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the regional coordinator of the Goulmou citizen watch, Mahamane KD Traore, stated that his organization has been involved since the launch of Faso Mebo in the city of Yendabli.

"Since Faso Mebo's arrival here in Fada N'Gourma, we have decided to be present every morning on the site before going about our business, because it is a noble initiative that Captain Ibrahim Traore launched in our region," he said. Mr. Traore affirmed that citizen monitoring, as a structure supporting local development, must participate in any action within the framework of promoting patriotism and citizen participation.

The regional coordinator of the Goulmou citizen watch also welcomed the call of the governor of the Eastern region on the occasion of the patriotic action day under the theme "One participant, one bag of cement". "For this day, we symbolically contributed five bags of cement, while waiting for the official launch of Faso Mebo in Fada to do more," he added.

The Faso Mebo initiative, led by the President of Burkina Faso, Captain Ibrahim Traore, aims to promote community work, solidarity and nation building through concrete development actions in the localities of Burkina Faso.
