According to the Minister in charge of Solidarity and Humanitarian Action, Nandy Diallo/Somé, conflicts related to land and the management of political and administrative governance have been accentuated lately in Burkina.

Mrs. Diallo also specified that terrorist acts have had harmful consequences on the life of communities.

According to him, it is in the dynamic of promoting social cohesion in the country that his department initiated these training sessions for the benefit of IDP leaders and host communities on the prevention of radicalization, the fight against violent extremism and local conflicts.

The Minister also noted that these training sessions aim to obtain a common commitment from all these leaders, so that they can contribute to eradicating conflicts in Burkina.

For Nandy Diallo/Somé, the training aims to improve and adapt the different methods of fighting and managing these conflicts according to the regions.

According to the representative of the coalition of nationals of the province of Kompienga, Abdoulaye Koadima, the training session, for the benefit of IDPs and host communities is welcome in the East region.

Mr. Koadima said that the populations are facing kidnappings of their livestock, death threats and loss of human life.
