Noumbiel: The Basic Education District (CEB) of Sangha, in the province of Koulpelogo, launched its annual pedagogical conference for primary school teachers under the chairmanship of CEB head, Aristide Oubda. The event commenced on Wednesday, October 15, 2025, bringing together educational leaders, partners, and stakeholders from the educational sector.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the opening ceremony was chaired by Yacouba Sawadogo, Vice-President of the Special Delegation of the commune of Sangha. In his address, Aristide Oubda welcomed all participants and led them in observing a minute of silence in memory of two teachers who were killed in a terrorist attack last year. He highlighted the importance of the meeting's theme, "Implementation of educational reforms and appropriation of integration situations," and urged participants to fully engage with the communications to enhance teaching and learning practices.
Yacouba Sawadogo commended the resilience and dedication of the Sangha teaching staff amidst security challenges. He also applauded the supervisors and teachers for their success in last year's CEP exams. Sawadogo emphasized that the educational conference serves as a platform for exchanging ideas and sharing experiences, officially opening the 2025 session's proceedings.
The conference is scheduled to last four days, concluding on Saturday, October 18, 2025.
