This Monday, October 13, 2025, a delegation led by Chief Commissioner Ousmane Nakanabo took part in the flag-raising ceremony at Sabce High School.
According to Burkina Information Agency, Commissioner Ousmane Nakanabo stated that this activity is part of the days of patriotic commitment and citizen participation. It aims to strengthen the values of discipline, civic-mindedness, and patriotism among young people. For two weeks, the police are organizing tours of primary schools, high schools, and middle schools in the town to raise awareness among students about civic responsibility and respect for state symbols.
At the end of the ceremony of raising the national colors, the principal of the Sabce High School, Leon Zongo, presented to the participants the message of the President of Faso, Captain Ibrahim Traore, relating to the second phase of the days of patriotic commitment. Mr. Zongo urged the students to translate these values into their daily behavior, particularly through respect for school rules and the preservation of common goods.
For his part, Commissioner Nakanabo recalled that academic success depends on discipline. He invited the students to embrace the orientations of the popular progressive revolution and to commit to responsibility, integrity, and patriotism. In addition to awareness sessions, the police are planning public lectures on road safety and the fight against the use of psychotropic substances.
