Dori: The Liptako region's representatives for the Faso Academy music competition were selected in Dori during a regional round that showcased significant talent. After a challenging contest, Mohamed Issouf Diallo emerged victorious, surpassing fellow competitors Amina Cisse and Maimounata Maiga.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the regional round in Liptako featured three contestants from various localities: Amina Cisse, Mohamed Issouf Diallo, and Maimounata Maiga. Each participant demonstrated unique talent and originality, captivating both the jury and the audience at the Dori multipurpose hall, where the event was recorded.
The jury, consisting of Greg Burkinbila, Awa Melo, and Amadou Dicko, assessed the candidates based on several criteria, including interpretation, vocal accuracy, synchronization, diction, stage presence, and overall performance.
During the competition, contestants performed "Ouaga Zeune" by Floby, a song mandated for all participants. In the second round, the female candidates sang "Panaki Pananzoe" by Miss Tania, while the male candidate performed "Ropero" by Reman.
These performances highlighted the contestants' vocal talent and stage skills. The audience appreciated the variety of styles and the quality of performances delivered by the young artists.
After evaluating the performances, the final ranking placed Mohamed Issouf Diallo at the top, followed by Amina Cisse and Maimounata Maiga. Diallo expressed his happiness at winning, attributing his success to extensive practice and self-belief.
