Namentenga High Commissioner Praises Successful National Days of Patriotic Commitment Activities

Namentenga: The High Commissioner of the province of Namentenga, Adama Conseiga, expressed his satisfaction with the outcomes of the activities conducted during the second phase of the National Days of Patriotic Commitment and Citizen Participation (JEPPC) in Boulsa on Friday, October 16, 2025.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the High Commissioner commended the socio-cultural and sporting activities that were a part of this phase in his locality. He took the opportunity to remind residents of the need to combat racketeering, corruption, and the destruction of public heritage, emphasizing that this should be the daily responsibility of all Burkinab¨ citizens.

Mr. Conseiga also congratulated and motivated the province's community leaders to uphold integrity consistently, highlighting its importance for achieving the goals of the Progressive and Popular Revolution (RPP). He noted that Captain Ibrahim Traore, the Head of State, addressed these issues during the official launch of the second phase of the JEPPC on October 2, 2025.

The activities involved various community engagements in primary and secondary schools, provincial directorates, and municipal special delegations. These included wearing traditional attire such as Koko Dunda or Faso Dan Fani, a blood donation drive, and a local dish tasting session.

Provincial Director of the National Police, Chief Commissioner Olivier Baguimzanre, stated that secondary school students were educated on citizenship and the fight against drug addiction. Road users were also informed about the importance of adhering to the Highway Code, wearing helmets, and observing speed limits. He mentioned that efforts are ongoing to identify recovered vehicles for return to their rightful owners, and no fatal road accidents have been reported over the past two weeks.

The second phase of the JEPPC was conducted nationwide from October 2 to 16, 2025.
