Nayala Educational Community Donates Equipment to Faso-Mebo Steering Committee

Nayala: The Nayala educational community, led by the Provincial Director of Preschool, Primary and Non-Formal Education, Garane Thomas, made a significant donation to the Faso-Mebo steering committee this Saturday, October 18, 2025, in Toma. The donation, worth 476,075 CFA francs, consists of three tons of cement, five wheelbarrows, five shovels, and fifteen pairs of gloves.

According to Burkina Information Agency, this contribution symbolizes the solidarity and commitment of Nayala's educational staff to support the development of their province. "We understood that our strength lies in our numbers. Everyone voluntarily contributed according to their means to support Faso-Mebo," said the provincial director of preschool, primary and non-formal education, Garane Thomas.

This donation, consisting of three tons of cement, fifteen pairs of gloves, five wheelbarrows, and five shovels worth 476,075 CFA francs, comes entirely from contributions from preschool and primary school staff and aims to support the implementation of the Faso-Mebo project in Nayala, officially launched on October 16.

Upon receiving the equipment, the High Commissioner of Nayala Province, Honore Frederic Pare, expressed his gratitude to all the donors. "This gesture is proof that the sons and daughters of Nayala are committed to the development of their province. I invite all the sons and daughters of the province to follow this example and contribute to the Faso-Mebo initiative," he urged.

This action by the educational community is part of the collective dynamic surrounding the implementation of the Faso-Mebo program, intended to promote local development through citizen participation and community mobilization.
