The Beogo Nere Foundation marked the beginning of this significant project by laying the foundation stone on Saturday.

According to Burkina Information Agency, this initiative aims to provide education, protection, and support to those affected by the conflict. The orphanage will house and offer training workshops in various fields such as tailoring, hairdressing, and carpentry.

The ceremony was presided over by Brigadier General Celestin Simpore, Minister of State, Minister of Defence and Veterans Affairs, who acknowledged the project's importance as a gesture of gratitude and solidarity with the families of the fallen soldiers.

The project is estimated to cost around 800 million CFA francs and aims to serve approximately 400 children and 100 women with training opportunities once completed.
