Tannounyan: Citizen Mobilization in Mangodara for a Clean Living Environment

Mangodara: The people of the commune of Mangodara mobilized on Saturday for a major sanitation day initiated by the President of the special delegation of the said commune. Very early in the morning, from 7:30 a.m., equipped with machetes, dabas, rakes, shovels, brooms, and wheelbarrows, men, women, and young people converged on the prefecture, determined to give a new face to their city.

According to Burkina Information Agency, under the supervision of the President of the Special Delegation, Abde Liaky Manacounou Sienou, and in the presence of local authorities, the participants waged a veritable battle against weeds, plastic bags, and garbage that cluttered public spaces. In addition to the prefecture compound, the Mangodara nursery school and several city streets were cleaned, restoring the town's splendor and cleanliness.

At the end of this civic action, the head of the Commune of Mangodara praised the strong mobilization of the inhabitants, which he described as proof of patriotic commitment and adherence to the vision of the President of Faso, Captain Ibrahim Traore. He invited the populations to maintain this collective dynamic for the sustainable development of Mangodara and Burkina Faso, while remaining ready to respond to other calls within the framework of the days of patriotic commitment.
