Tannounyan: The opening ceremony of the pedagogical conference of teachers of the basic education district (CEB) of Niangoloko was held Wednesday in the multipurpose hall of the said locality. The event was chaired by the Prefect, President of the special delegation (PDS) of Niangoloko, Ousseni Ouedraogo.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the conference was themed "Implementation of educational reforms and appropriation of integration situations", with a sub-theme focusing on the "Presentation of the orientation framework for continuing education and pedagogical supervision". The conference aims to strengthen the capacities of teachers and consolidate their knowledge.
In his speech, the PDS invited the audience to have a pious thought for the Defense and Security Forces (FDS), the Volunteers for the Defense of the Homeland (VDP), as well as for the educational personnel working in areas with high security challenges. He praised their commitment and sacrifice for the survival, dignity, and prosperity of Burkina Faso.
Mr. Ouedraogo also praised the vision of the President of Faso, Captain Ibrahim Traore, through the Presidential Initiative for Quality Education (IPEQ), which aims to make young Burkinabe citizens responsible, productive, and creative.
For his part, the Head of the Basic Education District (CCEB) of Niangoloko, Hamidou Traore, urged teachers to become more involved in the implementation of educational reforms to improve the quality of teaching.
Following the opening ceremony, participants began group work in classrooms. From October 15 to 18, 2025, activities will continue with practical lessons and discussions around major educational themes.
An annual meeting for exchanges and skills building, which demonstrates the commitment of the Niangoloko teaching staff to providing quality education to the children of Burkina Faso.
