Youth Association Plans to Green Guimbi Ouattara Maternity Hospital in Bobo-Dioulasso

Bobo-dioulasso: A youth association, COREJEC/HBS, is spearheading an initiative to re-green the Guimbi Ouattara maternity hospital in Bobo-Dioulasso, which is currently undergoing renovations. The project aims to enhance the hospital's environment, making it more welcoming for patients and healthcare workers.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the regional coordinator, Evariste Thiombiano, stated that this initiative is part of the group's effort to transform the maternity ward's landscape into a green space that promotes well-being. Thiombiano emphasized the importance of contributing to a healthy and inviting environment for everyone involved.

Seni Guira, representing the maternity unit, expressed satisfaction with the initiative, highlighting the significance of managing and beautifying the environment to create a pleasant living space. He encouraged the residents of the Guiriko region to embrace the project to ensure its success, noting the maternity ward's longstanding reputation.

Abou Soufiane Traore, coordinator of the rehabilitation steering committee, also praised the initiative by COREJEC/HBS. He remarked on the importance of updating the hospital, which is heavily frequented, to provide it with a new appearance and modern equipment. The ecological visit aligns with ongoing rehabilitation efforts, further supporting the hospital's revitalization.
