Ziro: Examination of the 2025 Amending Budget No. 2 on the Agenda of the 3rd Ordinary Session of the Special Delegation

Ziro: The special delegation of the municipality of Sapouy held its third ordinary session of the year on Tuesday, October 7, 2025. The agenda included the examination and adoption of the second amending budget for 2025, as well as the presentation of a project to create a hygiene police brigade.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the president of the special delegation of the commune of Sapouy, Ourobe Dioma, explained that adjustments were necessary due to the evolution of activities included in the 2025 management budget. He acknowledged the active participation and constructive spirit of the members, and the support from technical and financial services that enriched the discussions.

Beyond the budgetary issues, the session also addressed the creation of a hygiene police brigade. This initiative aims to promote a healthy living environment and strengthen sanitation discipline. The brigade, once established and sworn in, will focus on addressing hygiene violations. Dioma emphasized that hygiene is essential for maintaining a healthy environment and preserving health, urging the population to cooperate with the future structure.

The meeting also featured a communication on the public communication strategy, presented by Abdoulaye Kagambega, the provincial director of Communication, Culture, Arts and Tourism of Ziro. He emphasized the importance of making community actions more visible through modern distribution channels, recommending investment in social networks and partnerships with online media to better inform the population.

Abdoulaye Kagambega highlighted the role of his management in supporting and strengthening local media capacities to enhance their role in information dissemination and awareness. He also reviewed Ziro's participation in the regional culture week in Koudougou, where the province won two first places in the culinary arts.

Concluding the proceedings, Ourobe Dioma congratulated the councilors and thanked the people of Sapouy for their collaboration. He reiterated the special delegation's commitment to addressing citizen needs and working for the municipality's well-being.
