AES : La lutte contre le terrorisme connaît des avancées, selon le président Goïta

Malian President Assimi Goïta said yesterday Sunday that the creation of the Alliance of Sahel States (AES) has enabled the fighting forces of his country, Burkina Faso and Niger to record victories and weaken the terrorists."Thanks to the AES, our defense and security forces have recorded important victories on the ground, considerably weakening the armed terrorist groups," declared the current Malian president of the Confederation of Sahel States, Colonel Assimi Goïta.President Goïta spoke yesterday Sunday in Bamako, one year after the signing of the Liptako-Gourma charter which gave birth to the AES.For him, the armed forces of the three countries have taken up major challenges against adversaries supported by third states, such as Ukraine which has openly supported terrorism in the Sahel."Despite these significant advances, we continue to fight relentlessly against all forms of terrorism and to defend the integrity of our territory and our sovereignty," said the president of the Confederation of Sahel States.Source: Burkina Information Agency
