Authorities Praise Achievements of El Hadj Tahibou Ou©draogo High School in Zondoma

Ouagadougou: The private high school El Hadj Tahibou Ou©draogo in Gourcy concluded its educational activities this Saturday, July 19, 2025. The ceremony, led by the Secretary General of the Zondoma province, Anatole Pengdwend© Kabor©, featured awards for top students, practical advice, and tree planting.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the event aimed to express gratitude to all stakeholders, including parents, students, teachers, and administrative staff, whose efforts contributed to the school's commendable achievements over the years. The founder, El Adj Ousmana Ou©draogo, emphasized the importance of perseverance and pledged to improve conditions for better academic results.

The Secretary General praised the school for its performance in school exams under challenging circumstances and its contribution to educational development in the province. Boukar© Koumb¨m, representing the provincial director of secondary education and vocational training, echoed this sentiment, recognizing the school as one of the best in Zondoma.

The headmaster of Zakaria Sawadogo high school reported a 25.71% success rate in the BEPC exam and 64.10% in the Baccalaureate exam in 2025, despite challenges faced by private institutions. Before the awards, future students received expert advice on career path decisions critical for their university studies.

Amir Kinda, Romaric Ou©draogo, and Lassan© Romba were recognized for their achievements in the BEPC and Baccalaureate exams. Founded in 2018 with three classes, the school now houses 263 students across six classes. Participants concluded the ceremony by planting around thirty trees to enhance the school environment.
