Bal©: The final results of the Second Cycle Study Certificate (BEPC) in the province of Bal© reveal a success rate of 46.93%, with 1,903 students admitted.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the examination statistics were released after the conclusion of the second round of results across all juries in the province on the afternoon of Saturday, June 14, 2025. The announcement came from seventeen BEPC exam juries, marking the end of this examination session.
Preliminary statistics from the examination and competition service highlight that out of 4,055 candidates who sat for the exams, 1,903 successfully passed. Among these successful candidates, there were 918 boys and 985 girls. This outcome places Bal© as the third-best performing province in the Boucle du Mouhoun region, which comprises six provinces in total.
The Pompoi jury emerged as the top performer in the province, boasting a success rate of 56.25%. Other notable juries include Bitiako-Kalembouly with a 54.55% success rate, Fara1 at 52.97%, Ouahabou at 51.49%, Boromo1 at 51.29%, and Fara2 at 50.99%. Nine juries achieved rates between 40% and 49%, while the lowest success rates were seen in the Poura jury (34.31%) and Yaho (38.42%).
The highest average score in the province was 17.62, achieved by Tond© Maicharatou from jury 3 of Boromo. This performance underscores the academic excellence present within the province.
The head of the examinations and competitions department noted that this year's success rate is slightly higher than the previous year, indicating an improvement in the academic performance of the students in Bal©. The examination session concluded without any major incidents and is set to officially end at midnight on Monday, June 16.
