Bal©: The province records 1226 admissions, a success rate of 30.23% in the first round of the BEPC, 2025 session: The province of Bal© recorded a success rate of 30.23% in the BEPC following the proclamation of the results of the first round, on Wednesday, June 11, 2025, in all 17 juries of the province.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the statistics from the examination and competition service revealed that 4055 candidates participated in the written tests. Among them, 630 boys were admitted out of 1737, while 596 girls were admitted out of 2318. This brought the total number of admitted candidates to 1226, reflecting a success rate of 30.23%.
The examination results have allowed 2080 candidates to proceed to the second round of exams, consisting of 1250 boys and 830 girls. The president of the Sibi jury1, Som© Noel, reported a tragic incident where a candidate with an average of 14.92% passed away the day before the results were announced. The jury honored the deceased by observing a minute of silence before announcing the results.
In the first panel in Sibi, out of 226 candidates, 79 were declared successful, and 114 were deemed eligible for the second round, resulting in a success rate of 34.96%. The provincial director of secondary education, K¨l¨tigui Soulama, addressed teachers, expressing optimism for improved results in the second round. "I remain convinced that with your support of those who passed in your respective establishments, this score will be improved in the second round," he stated.
