BALE: AJFAD offers 300,150 tons of rice to the fighting forces of Poura and Fara

The Fara Youth Association for Endogenous Development (AJFAD) handed over on Saturday, September 14, 2024 in Fara half a ton of rice and the sum of 300 thousand FCFA to support the efforts of the fighting forces of Poura and Fara. The donations were received by local authorities in the presence of the beneficiaries.Residents of the commune of Poura and Fara, members of the Fara Youth Association for Endogenous Development (AJFAD) expressed their support and solidarity to the fighting forces of the two communes through a donation of 30 bags of 25 kg rice and an envelope of 300 thousand FCFA. The official handover ceremony took place at the Fara town hall on Saturday, September 14.According to the vice-president of AJFAD, Palembiélé Nignan, the gesture is a response to the call of the head of state. It was possible thanks to the voluntary contribution of the members of the association at the local level and those living elsewhere.Thus, during the ceremony of Fara, the prefect president of the special com munal delegation Aloys Ouango received and handed over 20 bags of rice and the sum of 200 thousand FCFA to the representatives of the fighting forces of Fara. Those of the city of Poura received 10 bags of rice and the sum of 100 thousand FCFA.The beneficiaries and the customary authorities thanked AJFAD and expressed blessings so that such gestures would multiply in favor of the fighting forces.Also concerned about protecting the environment, the association has given around sixty plants to the two municipalities. The plants must be planted underground in public services and emblematic places in the municipalities.The Fara Youth Association for Endogenous Development (AJFAD) has been involved in the development of the Fara commune for more than three decades. But in recent years, its actions have extended, according to the members of the association, to the commune of Poura located four km from Fara."Our objective is the development of Fara and Poura, which are sister communes with economic potential that deserve to be highlighted with the support of the sons and daughters of the localities," said a leader of the association.AJFAD also intends to work on the integration of the populations of Poura and Fara for real endogenous development through the training of young people and women in livestock breeding and agriculture.In this sense, it has built and equipped a training center that will be operational from October.Also, the vice-president of AJFAD called on the populations to unite to defeat terrorism.In Mr. Nignan's opinion, AJFAD wants the populations to work in cohesion and unity.According to him, if the populations are united, suspicious persons cannot cross a locality without being seen and arrested.In this sense, the AJFAD delegation praised the work of the fighting forces in securing property and people and which allows the populations to freely go about their business.The prefect president of the special delegation of Fara, Aloys Ouango, expressed his recognition and gratitude to A JFAD for the gesture.
