"We said to ourselves that we can be useful to humanity by donating our blood. It is in this dynamic that we initiated this operation to save lives," he said.Nearly 200 bags of blood were collected thanks to the collaboration with the CRTS, which deployed its teams to the three sites.According to Mr. Diakalia Traoré, head of the quality assurance department at the CRTS in Ouagadougou, this blood donation operation is a commendable initiative to be encouraged and perpetuated. For him, it is through this type of activity that we can obtain blood bags for patients in all hospitals.Without this type of operation, the National Blood Transfusion Center (CNTS) would not be able to meet the needs of patients, he added. Teacher s appreciated the initiative and said they were proud to contribute to saving lives.Provincial Director Claude Ouédraogo congratulated all the educators for their strong mobilization and said he was very satisfied with this operation, the objective of which was largely achieved. He also called on teachers to repeat this gesture regularly in order to continue saving lives.Source: Burkina Information Agency
