Boulgou Traders Triumph in Second Maracana Inter-Service Cup Final

Boulgou: The president of the special delegation (PDS) of the commune of Bittou, Mohamed Lamine Diabat©, kicked off the second edition of the Maracana inter-service cup final on Saturday, July 19, 2025, on the grounds of the Bittou multipurpose hall. The event, a collaborative effort between the president and the youth of Bittou, aims to foster social cohesion, solidarity, and coexistence between civil servants and the private sector.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the final match saw the traders' team clinch victory over the gold miners' team with a score of 3-2. The triumphant traders' team was awarded a trophy, 75,000 CFA francs, and a ball as their prize. Meanwhile, the gold-mining team received 50,000 CFA francs, a ball, and medals for their efforts.

In addition, the team securing third place was given 25,000 FCFA, a ball, and medals, while the fourth place team received 10,000 FCFA and a ball. Mohamed Lamine Diabat©, the PDS sponsor of the inter-service cup, expressed his satisfaction with the youth of Bittou and acknowledged the support from the population, constituted bodies, directors of services, and the defense and security forces.

Soumaila Kabor©, the captain of the gold miners' team, expressed his appreciation for the match despite finishing in second place. He encouraged the youth to continue fostering communal living and unity.
