Ouagadougou: The results of the CEP, BEP, CAP, and BEPC school exams for the 2025 session have been announced in Burkina's Northern region, showcasing impressive success rates. The exams recorded success rates of 88.58% for the CEP, 50.07% for the BEPC, and 88.67% for both the CAP and BEP.
According to Burkina Information Agency, for the CEP, 24,599 candidates took the exam, and 21,791 were admitted, resulting in an overall success rate of 88.58% in the Northern region. Breaking it down by province, Loroum achieved a success rate of 92.32%, Passor© had 87.95%, Zondoma reached 93.49%, and Yatenga recorded 87.38%.
The BEPC session of 2025 saw 10,567 candidates participating, with 5,291 successfully admitted, marking a success rate of 50.07%. In vocational and technical education, which includes the Professional Aptitude Certificate and the Professional Studies Certificate (CAP and BEP), 750 candidates took part in the exams, of which 665 were admitted, resulting in a success rate of 88.67%.
These accomplishments are attributed to the dedication and hard work of all those involved in the educational sector. The Regional Director of Preschool, Primary Education, and Non-Formal Education (DREPPNF) in the North, Pascal Waongo, alongside his counterpart from Secondary Education, Vocational and Technical Training (DRESFPT) in the North, Drissa Belem, commended the efforts of supervisors, parents, and partners for their contributions to these results.
