Minister of State, Bassolma Bazié, indicated on Wednesday that, in the fight against terrorism, each village must have its own response plan to react to an attack."The war against terrorism must be popular. Each village or neighborhood must organize itself and have its own response plan in the face of an attack," said Minister of State Bassolma Bazié.Mr. Bazié spoke on Wednesday, August 28, 2024 at the Sapouy town hall during a meeting with the key players in the Ziro province.Considering that every citizen is a VDP in his locality, the Minister of State urged the populations to be vigilant, to adopt good behavior and to establish a system for controlling internally displaced persons (IDPs).As for those who enrich themselves from the situation of insecurity, they will be given special treatment, warned Minister Bassolma Bazié.And the Minister of Justice, Rodrigue Bayala, added that the populations must agree to make sacrifices in this fight.According to Minister Bayala, it is a question of doing the maximum with the few resources at our disposal, because there will never be enough resources in this war.He also announced that the government will soon implement a plan to reorganize society through monitoring and development committees (COVED) in all villages and neighborhoods of Burkina.Source: Burkina Information Agency
