Burkina Faso Expects Complete Results of Civil Service Exams Before September 30, 2025

Ouagadougou: The results of the direct civil service competitive examinations for the 2025 session are set to be published progressively, with a commitment to make all deliberations available before September 30, 2025. This announcement was made by Suanyaba Rodrigue Oboulbiga, the president of the national steering committee for the competitions.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the timely dissemination of all direct competitive examination results is a key objective assigned to the Minister in charge of the Civil Service. This goal is part of the Minister's contract of objectives, as explained by Suanyaba Rodrigue Oboulbiga. The Council of Ministers had previously authorized the recruitment of 11,404 public agents during its ordinary meeting on January 22, 2025. This includes 4,348 recruits through professional competitions and 7,056 through direct competitions followed by training.

The 2025 session recorded a significant increase in applications, with 2,401,977 registrations on digital platforms, compared to 2,005,158 applications in 2024. This surge reflects the growing interest and participation in the civil service competitive examinations.
