Moscow: Burkina Faso is aiming to enhance its academic collaboration with Russia by establishing branches of Russian universities within its borders. This initiative is part of a broader strategy to support and nurture young scientists in the country, as announced by Burkina Faso President Captain Ibrahim Traoré during a recent conference at the Mendeleev University of Chemistry and Technology of Russia.According to Burkina Information Agency, President Traoré emphasized the presence of young talents, inventors, and scientists in Burkina Faso who are capable of significant innovation. He highlighted the potential benefits of having Russian university branches in the country, suggesting that such developments would provide essential resources for young people to study and refine their inventions.President Traoré also underscored the importance of strengthening relations with the Russian Federation, particularly in the areas of science and education.
