Ouagadougou: The Burkina Faso Stallions A' have altered their training plans and will no longer participate in the Douala Friendly Tournament in Cameroon ahead of the African Nations Championship (CHAN), as learned from reliable sources.
According to Burkina Information Agency, Morocco has been selected as the new destination for Issa Balbon©'s team, though specific details regarding this change have not been disclosed. This decision comes shortly after a press conference where Coach Issa Balbon© announced the initial plan for the team to engage in a friendly tournament in Douala. This tournament was set to feature teams from Burkina Faso, Guinea, and Niger.
Following the cancellation of their participation in Cameroon, the Burkinabe team plans to proceed to Dar es Salaam in Tanzania to commence their CHAN campaign. Burkina Faso is grouped in Group B, which consists of five teams, including Tanzania, Mauritania, the Central African Republic, and Madagascar.
