Ouagadougou: The government on Wednesday authorized the recruitment, for the year 2024, of interpreters-translators for the benefit of the Ministry in charge of Foreign Affairs, to better communicate with its strategic partners.Through direct competition and without initial training, 11 interpreter-translators will be recruited to respond to the policy of diversification of partners engaged by Burkina Faso since Captain Ibrahim Traoré came to power.“The need to recruit interpreter-translators is justified in view of the new challenges of our diplomacy as well as the increasingly growing demand at the level of the Interpretation and Translation Office,” indicated the report of the council of ministers this Wednesday.Countries like Russia, Iran, Turkey and China, as well as organizations like BRICS, have shown an interest in Burkina Faso, engaged in a fight against insecurity, terrorism and imperialist rapacity.Source: Burkina Information Agency
