The Prime Ministry presented on Wednesday a digital platform centralizing more than 11,000 laws and regulations that govern the functioning of the public administration.To facilitate decision-making at the highest level of the State, a legal text bank platform of more than 11,000 laws was designed by experts from the Prime Ministry. It was presented to media men this Wednesday, October 2, 2024 in Ouagadougou.For the IT specialist of the Prime Minister, Mahamane Lankoandé, to access the platform, you need to have an IP address or the address of the platform, which is accessible from the National Computer Network (RESINA)."We have the home tab, the national texts tab, the supranational texts tab, the other texts as well as the contacts to allow those who work to access the platform, to be able to contact our various managers to obtain other information," informed Mr. Lankoandé.According to him, the platform has general texts that anyone can access for useful information.The Chief of Staff of the Prim e Minister, Ferdinand Ouédraogo, indicated that the bank of legal texts is a very valuable tool for the authority because it allows the regulations to be brought together under a single internal secure digital platform, accessible to all the Prime Minister's services."The text bank that we have just set up is the authority's dashboard, to make relevant and coherent decisions, in accordance with the texts," he said.For Mr. Ouédraogo, the unavailability of texts can create major problems, dysfunctions at the administrative level and generate unnecessary red tape while compromising the development of the country."Making the texts available to the authority is really being in line with the government's current vision, which consists of implementing the action plan for stabilization and development," added the chief of staff.He continued that the platform is used internally to guide the Prime Minister's actions.According to Ferdinand Ouédraogo, the legal texts could be opened to other ministerial departm ents in the future.The chief of staff added that the system is already being tested in order to detect and correct the shortcomings for optimal operation.Source: Burkina Information Agency
