Burkina: RN1 users urged to be careful, possible increase in water level on Hèrèdougou bridgeOuagadougou, September 17, 2024 (AIB) - The Minister in charge of Water called on Monday users of the RN1 and local populations to be vigilant, because the height of the water on the Hèrèdougou bridge could increase between September 17 and 18, 2024, according to weather forecasts.In the event of heavy rain, the water level on the Hèrèdougou bridge could exceed 521 cm between September 17 and 18, 2024 according to weather forecasts, warns the Ministry in charge of Water, which therefore invited users of the RN1 and local populations to be careful and respect the instructions.As of September 16, the water level rose from 499 to 521 cm, an increase of 22 cm compared to the previous day, according to information from the Ministry of Water and the Environment.The same source notes that the increase in water height was also observed in the Bagré, Kompienga, Ziga and Loumbila dams.Source: Burkina Information Age ncy
