Nandiala: Security services have issued a search warrant for Gr©goire Zongo, a member of the Nandiala Communal Volunteer for the Defense of the Homeland (VDP), who is suspected of killing his 18-year-old girlfriend and seriously injuring her mother on Monday, August 18, 2025, around 8 p.m., in Nandiala, Boulkiemd© province.
According to Burkina Information Agency, Zongo allegedly committed the crimes using his issued Kalashnikov rifle before fleeing the scene with the weapon. The authorities have provided a description of the suspect, identifying him as being born on September 3, 1999, in Nandiala, approximately 1.65 meters tall, and black in complexion.
Authorities urge anyone with information on Zongo's whereabouts to contact the defense and security forces promptly to aid in his capture.
