Loumbila: 1,084 conscripts of the 80th class of the National Development Service (SND) pledged, during their graduation ceremony at the Loumbila Training and Production Center (CFP-L), to carry everywhere the best version of patriotism and the values acquired during their training. "I pledge that we will be worthy ambassadors of the SND, in our families, in our villages, in our workplaces. We will continue to hold high the banner of citizenship, discipline, and national unity," declared the delegate of the 80th class, Armel Bertrand Bationo.
According to Burkina Information Agency, for three months, the conscripts were trained in patriotism, civic-mindedness, rigor, endurance, solidarity, and cardinal values such as love of country, respect for institutions, and the spirit of sacrifice. They also learned how to handle weapons, shooting, and defense techniques. The delegate of the 80th class emphasized that the conscripts now carry these values like a torch. "These values will guide each of our steps: to serve our country selflessly, to cultivate team spirit and to prepare ourselves for the challenges of national development," said Armel Bertrand Bationo.
The director of the Loumbila training and production center, Captain Daouda Dao, invited the conscripts to be models of commitment and integrity. 'Stay true to the principles instilled in you here: patriotism, integrity, responsibility, selflessness, dedication to the common good. These are the hallmarks of true leadership,' he advised. The Director General of the SND, Colonel Moctar Haidara Tabore, also urged the conscripts to be living examples of discipline and patriotism and to remain faithful to their oath.
The Minister of Secondary Education and Vocational and Technical Training, Dr. Aboubakar Savadogo, patron of the graduation ceremony, invited the conscripts to be role models and to pass on the values acquired once in the field. "My message to those called up is to instill these deep values and share them as much as possible," he said. The 1,084 employees called up for the 3rd wave of the 80th SND promotion come from the Koudougou Higher Teacher Training College (ENSK).
