Ouagadougou: The Burkinabe government authorized on Wednesday a special operation to issue Urban Housing Permits (PUH) for the benefit of 180,000 buyers of plots and housing from 49 real estate developers in eight regions of the Burkina.According to the report of the Council of Ministers of this Wednesday, July 3, 2024, this first phase of the operation to issue urban housing permits (PUH) will concern 127 sites belonging to 49 real estate developers spread across 8 regions of Burkina.The same source specifies that the said operation will allow 180,000 buyers to take possession of their PUH.'It is up to the 49 real estate developers whose sites have been regularized to take approvals to update themselves in order to continue the implementation of their projects which have been selected,' noted the Minister in charge of Housing, Mikaïlou Sidibé.For the success of the operation, the government has simplified the composition of the file to allow buyers to obtain their PUH, informed the Council of Ministe rs.While awaiting the publication of the list of authorized sites, the government has urged populations not to purchase plots from the same buyers, indicates a press release from the Ministry of Housing.Source: Burkina Information Agency
