Burkina: UEMOA offers office equipment worth around 30 million to the country

The West African Economic and Monetary Union (UEMOA), offered yesterday Monday, a batch of office equipment estimated at around 30 million FCFA to Burkina Faso.The Minister of Health, Dr Robert Kargougou received a batch of equipment consisting of laptops and desktop computers, tablets, multifunction color printers, video projectors, scanners and kits, worth approximately 30 million FCFA, provided by the West African Economic and Monetary Union (UEMOA).According to Minister Kargougou, this donation will help strengthen epidemiological surveillance at entry points to Burkina Faso, in a context where monkeypox has been declared by the World Health Organization as a public health emergency of international concern.For the Commissioner in charge of the UEMOA Human Development Department, Mamadou Serifo Jaquité, it is part of the Union's dynamic of helping Member States in the fight against epidemics.
