Ouagadougou: Beijing said Thursday its wish to see the President of Faso, Ibrahim Traoré, personally attend the China-Africa Cooperation Forum (FOCAC), scheduled for September.The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Regional Cooperation and Burkinabè Abroad Karamoko Jean Marie Traoré TRAORE, received in audience on Thursday the Ambassador of the People's Republic of China to Burkina Faso Lu Shan, reports his communications services.The diplomat indicated that the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation (FOCAC), which will be held in September, is a presidential summit. Hence the wish to see President Ibrahim Traoré 'to translate at the highest summit the good relations of cooperation between the two countries'.Minister Traoré indicated that Burkina Faso will be at FOCAC 2024, and that regarding the invitation made especially to the President of Faso, he will convey the message to him.Source: Burkina Information Agency
