Bobo-dioulasso: The written tests for the 2025 direct civil service competitive examinations officially began this Friday, August 1 across the country. In Bobo-Dioulasso, the Burkina Information Agency (AIB) noted the effective start of the compositions in several centers, notably at the jury 1 of the Mixed High School of Accart-Ville and at the jury 3 of the Ouezzin Coulibaly High School (LOC).
According to Burkina Information Agency, at 6:00 a.m., the supervisors mobilized for the organization received a strict reminder of the administrative instructions. At 6:30 a.m., they proceeded to call the roll and seat the candidates in their rooms. Despite the early hour, most of the candidates were present on time, driven by a mixture of courage, concentration, and, for some, visible concern on their faces.
After settling in, the invigilators carefully read the general instructions, emphasizing the mistakes to avoid, including: overloading the copies, incorrectly coding the receipt numbers, and forgetting to sign the room reports.
At the Lyc©e Mixte d'Accart-Ville, the president of the jury, Ms. SESSOUMA n©e TRAOR‚¬Å¡¬€¦¡¬€š¬¦¡¬€š¬…¡¬¦¡¬€š¬…¡¬‚¬¦¡¬¦¡¬° Djata, wished all the candidates good luck, urging them to be disciplined and focused. She indicated that her jury has 18 rooms, each accommodating 50 candidates, for a total of 900 candidates registered for this center.
According to official figures, 2,401,977 applications have been registered for the 2025 session of direct civil service competitive examinations. However, the actual number of candidates expected at the examination centers stands at 397,083, for a total of 7,056 vacancies across the civil service.
The competitive examinations will continue in the coming days according to the schedule established by the Ministry of Civil Service. Final results are expected no later than September 30, 2025.
