Bamako: The Prime Minister, His Excellency Rimtalba Jean Emmanuel Ou©draogo, arrived in Bamako for a friendship visit, at the invitation of his Malian counterpart, Major General Abdoulaye Maga.
According to Burkina Information Agency, upon disembarking from the plane, the Burkinabe Head of Government was greeted by his Malian counterpart, surrounded by several members of the Government. He is making this official trip accompanied by the Minister for Youth and Employment, the Minister Delegate for the Budget, and members of his cabinet.
During his stay, the Prime Minister will take part in the celebration of the second anniversary of the Malian Citizen Brigade, an organization initiated by the Malian authorities to promote civic-mindedness, patriotic commitment, and social cohesion.
The visit's program also includes an audience with the President of the Transition and Head of State of Mali, Army General Assimi Gota, as well as a working session between the two delegations.
Beyond strengthening bilateral relations between Ouagadougou and Bamako, this trip is part of the dynamic of cooperation and solidarity driven within the Confederation of Sahel States (AES).
