The President of Faso, Captain Ibrahim TRAORE received in audience, this Thursday, an emissary of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Elchin Oktyabr Oglu AMIRBAYOV, on a working visit to Burkina Faso.The envoy of the Azerbaijani President, AMIRBAYOV said that his presence in Burkina Faso "beautiful country, a friendly country" is part of the 20th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries."This is a very appropriate time to take a look at our bilateral relations with a view to identifying potential avenues for advancing these relations which have many assets to exploit," said the Head of State's host.He said that during this audience, the two countries confirmed their willingness to engage in this cooperation built on mutual respect and the preservation of common interests. "We discussed concrete areas in which this cooperation can be beneficial for our two peoples," he said, citing among other areas of cooperation, energy, vocational education, mining i ndustry and humanitarian work."Our country attaches great importance to its relations with African countries," said Elchin Oktyabr Oglu AMIRBAYOV, who asserts that Azerbaijan has established "solid" relations of cooperation and interaction with most African countries.Source: Burkina Information Agency
