A common policy of conquering foreign markets was yesterday Monday at the center of discussions between the Prime Minister, Dr. Apollinaire Kyélem de Tambèla and the Ambassador of the Russian Federation to Burkina, Igor Martynov for the preparations for the Economic Days of Burkina Faso in Moscow, Russia.The next Burkina Faso Economic Days Abroad (JEB) will be held from October 8 to 11, 2024, in Moscow, capital of the Russian Federation.The Russian diplomat in Burkina Faso, Igor Martynov, at his exit from an audience yesterday Monday in Ouagadougou with the Prime Minister, Dr Apollinaire Kyélem de Tambèla, said he had come to make preparations for the JEB 2024.The head of the Burkinabe government, for his part, stressed the strategic importance of Russia as an economic, military and diplomatic partner.Dr. Kyélem also called for the strengthening of the presence of Russian companies in Burkina Faso.He also mentioned the possibility of a direct air link between Moscow and Ouagadougou while advocating for Burkina Faso's membership in the BRICS group, in order to rebalance international trade.The Russian ambassador reaffirmed his country's commitment to supporting Burkina Faso through the construction of a civil nuclear power plant, aimed at strengthening energy cooperation between the two nations.Both sides expressed satisfaction with the development of bilateral relations and their willingness to further deepen them.Source: Burkina Information Agency
