Council of State: Edilbert Somé installed in his functions as president

Magistrate Edilbert Somé was installed Thursday morning in Ouagadougou, president of the Council of State by the head of the Burkinabe parliament, Dr. Ousmane Bougouma, AIB learned from the communication services of the Transitional Legislative Assembly.The President of the Council of State, Edilbert Somé, while thanking the highest authorities for the confidence placed in him, committed to properly accomplishing his mission in accordance with the texts in force. In view of the heavy task that awaits him, he said he was counting on the support of the other members of the Council as well as the other jurisdictions.The Council of State is the highest court of the administrative order. The courts of the administrative order are constituted by the administrative tribunals which rule in the first instance and exceptionally in the last instance.
