Yagha: A delegation of vital forces assesses the government's security and development initiatives: The mission officer at the Presidency of Faso for the Sahel region, Mr. Ali Bokoum, met on Saturday with a delegation of nationals from the Yagha province residing in Dori to discuss the security and development initiatives undertaken by the government in this part of Burkina Faso.
According to Burkina Information Agency, in January 2025, a delegation of the vital forces of the Yagha province residing in Dori identified with the mission officer at the presidency of Faso, a series of actions to be carried out to improve the living conditions and security of the populations of Yagha.
A quarter after this estimate, the two parties met in Dori on Saturday, April 26, 2025, to assess the concrete responses provided to these concerns, which related to the regularity of supply convoys, the strengthening of security, the return of the administration, and the establishment of a representative committee of the nationals of the Yagha province residing in Dori.
At the end of the discussions, both parties unanimously acknowledged that the province was supplied on time, and actions aimed at strengthening security and development in the province were carried out. According to representatives of both parties, other activities aimed at strengthening the living conditions and security of the population are underway.
As for the provincial nationals' committee, it will be set up at the beginning of May, they added. Positive messages of social cohesion and living together must be conveyed within communities in order to avoid stereotypes and excesses, both parties agreed. Mr. Bokoum also called on everyone to use social media in a healthy way.
