The Deputy Chief of General Staff of the Armed Forces (CEMGAA), Colonel Moussa Diallo, led a mission to the Forces vives of Djibo on Monday.The CEMGAA had open discussions with the Defense and Security Forces, the Volunteers for the Defense of the Fatherland (VDP) and the civil, administrative and customary authorities.At each stage, Colonel Moussa Diallo reassured of the will and determination of the first authorities of Burkina Faso to fight the terrorist hydra, despite the difficulties.He urged the fighting forces to remain united behind the command and to continue to fight for the sovereignty of Burkina Faso.In his opinion, the latest events, far from dampening the morale of the fighters, should galvanize them and give them more determination to fight against these faithless and lawless men who attack unarmed populations.With the Forces vives of Djibo, Colonel Moussa Diallo especially recalled the importance of the Union, of social cohesion and of understanding between communities.He called o n them to abandon fake news and cooperate frankly with the fighting forces.Before taking leave, the Deputy Chief of General Staff of the Armed Forces assured the populations and the Combatant Forces that their grievances and concerns, especially relating to security and the care of IDPs, will be faithfully transmitted to the top authorities of Burkina Faso.Source: Burkina Information Agency
